about

recorded at the People's Bookshop, Durham on 16/3/19 by Derek Smalls and Mark No Red Indian. Originally written as vocals for a St James Infimary song on a long-awaited album. The mighty SJI! Check their bandcamp page out.

lyrics

this is a work in progress, and some of these rhyming couplets (which I'm both obsessed with, and changing all the time) are a bit hitty missy. More recent version includes the wonderful "Keegan's perm, the Lambton Worm" courtesy of Lucas Renney. Still, pretty happy with "Mike Neville's liver, the Coquet River" and "Tynemouth pier, Gazza's tears".
